Yes girls! The most influential women in the world revealed
In an era when the idea of influence has become more about Instagram likes than effecting change, a new power list published this week puts the spotlight firmly back on those making the most significant contributions in the worlds of fashion, entertainment and business in 2018. And rightly so.

Relatable former Suits actress Meghan Markle, who has managed to create her own identity while the world watches her every move as Prince Harry’s bride-to-be, is a new entry to the TIME 100. She also proves that fairy tale endings do exist.

Joining the likes of force-to-be-reckoned with Rihanna and Wonder Woman leading lady Gal Gadot is Cardi B, who is basically the biggest thing in music right now. The rapper isn’t trying to get in anybody else’s lane and is unapologetically herself. For that (and all the hits, obvs), we love her.
Another recording artist we’re pressing the follow button for is Kesha, who demanded justice against sexual harassment in the music industry workplace. Also, Lady Bird filmmaker Greta Gerwig, who became the first woman to earn an Oscar nomination for her directorial debut. Bravo.

Finally, Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown is making an impact for all the right reasons. Admittedly, she’s slightly unnerving – we don’t remember oozing such talent at 14. Regardless, we’re obsessed.
