The Hay Festival is coming to Abu Dhabi to celebrate literature

Hay Festival, one of the most popular cultural and literary festivals worldwide, is coming to Abu Dhabi. 

The festival brings readers and writers from around the globe together to share stories and thoughts on viable activities.

It is scheduled for 24-27 February 2020 in Abu Dhabi.

The four-day event will feature workshops, creative performances, new technology discovery, storytelling and many more events linked to art and literature.

Leading writers and thinkers such as Nobel Prize winners Ahmed Galai and Sherin Ebadi, the 2019 International Arabic fiction prize-winning Lebanese author Hoda Barakat will be part of The Hay Festival. 

This festival will be a significant initiative to celebrate the “Year of Tolerance” said by H.E. Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance of the UAE.
