The fascinating Louvre Abu Dhabi exhibition displays 250 photographs of the Middle East, Africa, Asia and The Americas that have never been seen before. The photographs are believed to be some of the earliest ever taken of these regions and offer an authentic representation of the world at that time - something that's hard to find nowadays.
The Louvre Abu Dhabi has collaborated with Museé Du Quai Branly- Jacques Chirac and Agence France-Muséums to bring us this exhibition, which explores how nationality, geography, culture and regional politics influenced the photographers, and demonstrates how this is reflected through their photography techniques.
The best part is there’s no extra fee for this exhibition – entry is included as part of the general admission ticket (which is Dhs63), and free for children under thirteen. It runs until July 13th, and you can buy tickets here or on the spot if planning ahead isn’t your forte (we get it).
