It's time to shake off the winter blues and let your creativity blossom in time for spring. And what better way to do that than art? Head down to some of Dubai's coolest spaces and let your ideas flow freely. Whether you're looking for a fun weekend outing or just a creative outlet, here are all the must-attend art workshops in the city. Plus, with Mother's Day coming up on March 21, you could even make your mum a gift that she can hang on the fridge - just like old times.
Upping Dubai’s art scene in the heart of Alserkal Avenue, thejamjar - a community art space - is hard to miss. For one, it has the region’s first public Do-It-Yourself Painting Studio and two … well, there are a bunch of exciting workshops, talks and events. Founded in 2005, the space supports art programmes, educational initiatives and community projects. Here, you can get social and sign up to the fun workshops and classes, or opt to have some me-time and sit in for a private tutorial. Our recommendation? On March 5, the space will host an 'Intuitive Creativity’ workshop, using ThetaHealing® technique to release all the negative blocks. We'll see you there.
