If you’re one to drown everything you eat in ketchup but can feel judgemental stares from all your disapproving distant relatives at Christmas dinners, fret no more. There’s now a festive version of the staple condiment.
As part of a collaboration between British company Sauce Shop and online retail giant Amazon, Christmas’ most hotly debated veg has been taken to the next level and reimagined in sauce form – though we’re not entirely sure why. And, not so shockingly, it's only available over the Christmas period.
Each bottle of sauce is made up of 15 Brussels sprouts and a festive blend of nutmeg, cinnamon, and cloves, which means it packs a super Christmassy vitamin C-loaded punch.
Pam Digva, co-founder of Sauce Shop, says, "It’s been a wonderful challenge to bring out the natural sweet, nutty flavour of the often-misunderstood Brussels sprout and we’re very proud of our sauce.”
The condiment, coming in at Dhs14, is suitable for both vegans and vegetarians, and will begin shipping from Monday 2 December, leaving you plenty of time before Christmas to try and convince yourself you need it.
