Influencers are everywhere and sometimes you can't help but envy their jet-setting and glamorous lifestyle, even if it is just for the 'gram. But consider that you could become one too - in reality, anyone can. And maybe you’ve tried already. You’ve attended one of the highly informative courses at the Grazia Academy (wink wink) and want to take it to the next level. Well, you’re in luck. Introducing Dubai’s social media influencers’ diploma programme. Launching on 8 September, it will be the region’s first accredited program of its kind.
The Social Media Influencers Diploma has been developed with an elite group of professors from the Mohammed bin Rashid School for Communication (MBRSC), and the American University in Dubai (AUD) so you know you’re in good hands. The course aims to educate and train students so that they can produce more effective content for the ever-changing warzone that is your social media feed.

The President of DPC, Her Highness Mona Al Marri, said, “The programme is in line with Dubai’s vision to develop and empower talented individuals in various fields and enhance their role and contributions in the advancement of their communities.”
Ali Jaber, Dean of the MBRSC, said, “Every aspect of establishing a strong presence on social media including strategy, content creation and technology will also be addressed, giving the participants a rigorous grounding in the knowledge and skills required to become powerful influencers”
The programme will cover all aspects of social media across six courses over two semesters. The degree can be acquired at the end of only eight months.
