Billie Eilish has been chosen to perform the new James Bond theme song, becoming the youngest artist in the history of the movie franchise to sing and write the title track.
The 18-year-old “Bad Guy” singer took to Instagram to share the accomplishment with the caption: “No Time To Die” James Bond. And I am singing the theme song. Whaat”.
The forthcoming No Time To Die film featuring Daniel Craig will be the actor's fifth and final time as 007.
Billie's brother Finneas also shared the news on Instagram announcing, “Writing the theme song for a Bond film is something we’ve been dreaming about doing our entire lives. There is no more iconic pairing of music and cinema in my opinion. We feel so so lucky to play a small role in such a legendary franchise”
The siblings have been making waves in the music industry since Eilish's debut album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? that took off last year. Combined, the duo have 11 Grammy nominations for this year's awards.
With just a few days into the new decade, it looks like the teen is already on a roll!
