The usually secretive star is telling all in her Netflix documentary coming to the platform later this month. Taylor was forced to announce that the documentary, entitled Taylor Swift: Miss Americana, was in the works when she spoke out about being banned from using her own music for the project. Although it ruined the element of surprise, fans are still excited to see into the life of one of the most famous women in the world.
The documentary will give audiences an inside look at the past few years of Taylor’s professional and personal life – no doubt including the battle with record label Big Machine Records and executive Scooter Braun, as well as her relationship with British actor Joe Alwyn.
According to the documentary's official description, fans will follow Taylor’s ‘experience of being one of the brightest lights on the world’s global stage’ in a film that ‘showcases Swift’s trademark vulnerability and her fierce intelligence and wit… as the superstar embarks on the latest chapter of her already extraordinary career’. Sounds good to us.
Taylor Swift: Miss Americana will be shown at Sundance Film Festival before coming to Netflix on January 31.
