Snoopy Island in Fujairah has long been considered the ecological treasure of the UAE.

But climate change is making its mark on the area, and in an effort to revive the sanctuary and raise climate change awareness, Snoopy Beats is launching Snoopy-Con, a music festival by the beach with sustainability at the heat of its theme.

Over the past two years, the Snoopy Beats team has helped the island become a global attraction thanks to previous festivals, Carnival Island, Space Island and Skull Island, and this year, Snoopy-Con will be taking place over Halloween weekend on 1 and 2 November.

The two-day event will feature DJ Tennis, Jimi Jules, Caleesi, Hoolz and Maks, along with other surprise musical guests, however, it will also be “calling on all forces to restore the balance in our universe” by inviting festival-goers to do their bit too.

“This is the ultimate shakedown to reclaim our home, Snoopy Island and stand for a common cause that is bigger than each individual,” the organisers say of the festival.

Tickets which are only available from Platinumlist start at Dhs225, however if you want to book hotel accommodation for the duration of the festival, packages starts at Dhs1,150.
