Good news if you’re a fan of Instagram’s Boomerang function - the social media platform has just launched three new ways for you to make your images pop.
"SlowMo" allows you to capture the action in slow motion, as the name suggests; the "Echo" function can be used to create a double vision effect; while "Duo" both speeds up and slows down your Boomerang, to add what Instagram likes to call a “texturized effect”.
The new "Trimming" feature also lets you edit the length of your Boomerang so you can cut out any false starts or bits at the end that you don’t want to include.
“Boomerang is one of the most beloved camera formats and we’re excited to expand the creative ways that you can use Boomerang to turn everyday moments into something fun and unexpected,” Instagram said in an official statement about the release.
