If you’re not familiar with Gary Janetti on Instagram you’re missing out.
The former Family Guy and Will and Grace writer and producer has become the only royal correspondent we want to listen to thanks to his irreverent meme account based on the inner-musings of six-year-old Prince George.
While Janetti’s parody account is firmly rooted in fiction, his hilarious quips about what the family made of Meghan Markle couldn’t be more relevant in light of recent developments, and now HBO Max has commissioned him to turn his witty quips and on-the-money assumptions into an animated series.
Called The Prince, the series will follow Prince George as he gets ready to fulfil his future role as the King of England.
Janetti will voice Prince George, Orlanda Bloom has been cast as the voice of Prince Harry, Condola Rashad as Meghan, Lucy Punch as Kate Middleton and Alan Cumming as George’s Butler.
Taking to Instagram to announce the news, Janetti captioned his post with, “George is pleased”.
That makes two of us, George.
