To kick start the new decade, royals across the UAE are calling on citizens and residents to choose the nation’s new brand logo.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashed Al Maktoum and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, the Crown Prince of Dubai, both took to social media to announce the regions latest initiative.
Our success story is global, the UAE's story stems from our desire to cooperate with others. I invite everyone to take part in choosing the UAE Nation Brand logo that will be the symbol of a nation that strives to be the best in the world within 100 years of its inception. pic.twitter.com/x30VFQq00M— محمد بن زايد (@MohamedBinZayed) 17 December 2019
Alongside being used within campaigns and marketing, and for representing the Emirates to the world, the new logo will mark the beginning of year '2020: Towards the next 50'; the year of preparation for the country’s next 50 years.

Voters will be able to select one of three logos designed by the ‘Inspiring 49’ – 49 Emirati artists who have been working tirelessly to redesign the UAE brand. And the best part? According to Sheikh Mohammed's tweet, for every vote, a tree will also be planted.
With this focus on community and the environment, it’s safe to assume that the UAE has great things in store for the next 50 years.
