Bouchra Ezzahraoui on how her Moroccan roots influence her style

What do you most love about Morocco?
I love the people and the rich culture that’s been passed on throughout the generations. The country managed to open itself to modernity but kept its roots and heritage which makes me a very proud Moroccan. I love how open minded and hospitable Moroccan people are, everyone feels at home no matter where they’re from and very few countries can make you feel this way.

What's your statement Morroccan style?
Comfort and colour but with an edge. Think of a flowy kaftan that can be teamed with jeans, or handmade Moroccan slippers that are perfect for the beach or paired with yoga pants.

Which AUrate pieces do you wear when in Morocco?
I don’t change my pieces from city to city, instead I never take off my initial and evil eye necklaces.

Where do you go for inspiration?
Morocco vibrates with colour, flavours and architectural surprises. Every door, side-street, museum, mosque and even the merchant of spices can inspire. Marrakech offers this perfect combination and I would highly recommend it to anyone exploring the country for the first time.

Which spots should every Grazia Girl have on her bucket list?
Marrakech, the Merzouga desert, Casablanca, Fez and Chefchaouen. You can’t not be blow away!
