If you live in the UAE, don't book a holiday before reading this

The UAE has announced that tourism will not be considered as a reason to travel. The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority implemented an approval form for those who have appropriate reasons. Along with the non-refundable Dhs50 form, you will need to submit your ID, residence permit copy and your passport copy. Here is why you may be the next passenger:

1. Medical treatment
If you are obliged to leave for any health-related treatments, you will need to provide a recommendation letter approved by a medical committee or an official medical committee approval.

2. Education
Students will need to provide a non-objection letter issued by the Ministry of Education.

3. Work
A letter from your employer is required stating your training or job is to be done abroad.

4. Business
For private-sector business travel, you will need supporting documents such as contracts or property papers to prove this.

5. Compassionate leave
Poof of illness or a death certificate of a first-degree relative is required. 

6. Emiratis who reside abroad
Citizens with residency permits or a marriage contracts will be allowed to leave the UAE. Emiratis must also report to their nearest UAE embassy on arrival at their destination.

Passengers to have a negative COVD result upon exiting or entering the UAE.
