The Burj Khalifa has been named one of the most-visited tourist attractions in the world, according to Uber.

Basing its data on the number of trips taken to the various locations, the app found that Dubai’s tallest building came in seventh place, beating Disneyland and Buckingham Palace.

New York City’s Empire State Building took the top spot, while second place went to the Freedom Tower.

Toronto’s CN Tower was awarded third place while Paris claimed the fourth, fifth and sixth spots for the Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower and Louvre respectively.

Disneyland, Buckingham Palace and San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge rounded out the top 10.

Built in 2010, the Burj Khalifa is 828-metres tall and welcomes around two million visitors per year.
