Oman is introducing a brand new water park to Muscat, which will be the first of its kind in the capital city. It will be conveniently located in front of the sea in the Al Bustan area. The park offers its guests relaxation and outdoor swimming and hopes to increase in tourism in the future for the Sultanate of Oman. The project was announced by the BBH group based in Oman.
Additional information is yet to be received.
The group also revealed that they’ll be building a massive hotel by the beach of Al-Ashkharah, which will be home to around 100 three-star chalets. The Omani group has also shared plans of constructing a 54,000 square meter market.
The market is expected to have over 1,000 shops, a multi-stage theatre, Omani-style hotel and various others facilities to attract visitors, boost the tourism sector and eventually reduce Oman’s dependency on oil. The project is estimated to cost Dhs373 million.
