Here's why Alserkal Avenue is the place to be tonight

No plans for tonight yet? We've got you covered. We're gearing up for the new season of one of our favourite Dubai events - Alserkal Lates.

Dive into an evening of art, design, music, theatre and more while rubbing shoulders with some of the city's most up-and-coming creatives.

Here’s everything you need to know about tonight’s festivities:

The hub that is Alserkal Avenue will be extending its hours from 6-9pm for all galleries and food and retail spaces as it presents its latest exhibitions to the public.

Thejamjar and The Happy Studio bring a fun vibe to the mix, while The Good Life caters to the fashionistas among you.

This time around, Alserkal will be introducing three brand-new concepts to the mix: CRANK, Cinema Akil and Nightjar Coffee Roasters.

Located at Warehouse 43, CRANK is a boutique fitness concept that will heal your body and soul. Tonight they will be offering a complimentary class for first-timers as well as a 15 per cent discount on all workout packages.

Officially launching on 28 September in Warehouse 68, Cinema Akil is an independent cinema platform bringing quality films to audiences in the UAE. Opening night will showcase two regional premieres: McQueen and Yomeddine

Lastly, Nightjar Coffee Roasters, a coffee roastery and eatery will be launching a new food menu for some much-needed quick bites as we studio hop our way through the night. Stop by warehouse 62 and grab something.

Other events include...

6PM: Talk | Institution as Amplifier: Diana Campbell Betancourt on the Samdani Art Foundation at Alserkal Residency. Free and open to all.
6PM: Workshop: Jewellery rendering with watercolour at The Jewel Teller.
7PM: Curated trail around the new exhibitions at the contemporary art galleries, led by arts writer Laura Egerton. Meet inside A4 Space.
