An eco-friendly food festival is coming to Souk Madinat Jumeirah

Live music, great drinks and feasting under open skies: food festivals are a recipe for a memorable summer’s day… or just about any day in Dubai’s warm climes.

Latest in food festivals to hit the region is eco-friendly festival, Homegrown@Souk, at Souk Madinat Jumeirah.

Taking place from 28 February to 7 March, the festival will focus on sustainable food, showcasing eco-friendly culinary possibilities, special menus and a fresh produce market.

The market will be offering produce that comes packaging-free or with compostable plant-based packaging, alongside a complimentary tote-bag to promote eco-consciousness and eliminate plastic use.

As well as offering opportunities to wander around the food stalls, Homegrown@Souk is also catering to our desire to participate and learn. A range of food and beverage classes will be available for visitors to partake in such as a family-friendly guacamole-making class at Maria Bonita.
