Beat the summer heat with the ultimate Jumeirah brunch guide
@madinatjumeirah

There’s nothing more traditional in Dubai than the Friday Brunch. Your weekend staple for girl gangs, families or for special occasions, brunch is one of the cities’ favourite activities – and while everything else may slow down during scorching summer months, Jumeirah is making sure brunch isn’t one of them. Thank goodness – we don’t know what we’d do without our weekly dose of chocolate fountain. Choose from a range of dining experiences at Jumeirah’s luxury locations (or try them all if you can’t choose just one):

Madinat Jumeirah

Madinat Jumeirah

Even though we may still get lost no matter how many times we visit, Madinat Jumeirah’s offerings are worth the wandering – roam far enough and you may end up at one of these brunch hotspots.

Jumeirah Al Qasr: The legendary mega-brunch is the perfect place to bring visiting out-of-towners or to celebrate special occasions (payday is a special occasion, right?). The huge spread spans three restaurants and features live cooking stations and dessert galore - in case you’re wondering how big it is, they give you a map upon arrival. Yes, really.

Fridays, 12:30-16:00. Dhs480 soft beverages, Dhs577 bubbles and house beverages, Dhs674 premium bubbles.

Hanaaya: Escape the outdoors and enjoy locally-sourced ingredients and international delights while you look onto the winding Madinat Jumeirah canals. This relaxing brunch is one not to be missed – ‘hanaaya’ does mean happiness, after all.

Fridays, 12:30 to 16:00. Dhs350 soft beverages, Dhs450 house beverages.

  • For both, call +97144323232 to reserve.

Burj Al Arab

Burj Al Arab

Al Muntaha: The iconic seven-star hotel is home to a fine-dining destination with one of the best views the city has to offer (understandable given that it’s 200 metres above sea level). The innovative menu is artfully crafted by world-class chefs and combines the finest ingredients. Plus, it’s all sustainably sourced. We're talking about a proper brunch here, not your usual insta-frame, stock-the-table Dubai special. Definitely one for a special occasion, the Le Grand Petit Déjeuner brunch features blue lobster benedict, black truffle eggs and turbot topped with caviar, alongside a premium selection of pastries and dessert. This is one spread worth waking up early for.

  • Fridays, 10:00 – 15:30. Dhs695 soft beverages and a glass of bubbles. Early bird 10:00 – 12:00, Dhs595 soft beverages. Call +971 430 176 00 to reserve.

Kitchen Connection at Jumeirah Beach Hotel

Kitchen Connection: This one’s for the ladies. Catch up with your BFF's this summer and get a free upgrade to the sparkling package, as well as a complimentary post-brunch beverage at Uptown Bar. Rather a family affair? Children can enjoy the dedicated facilities, and there's even a section to stick your S.O.

Fridays, 13:00-16:00. Dhs415 soft beverages, Dhs520 sparkling, Dhs695 premium bubbles.

La Parrilla: If you’re more of a have-breakfast-with-the-sunrise kind of person (what’s that like?), you may be ready for something a little meatier come lunchtime. Enter: La Parrilla. Carnivores can indulge in South American-inspired flavours and tableside-carved steak, ending, of course, with the Mexican traditional treat of churros. Yum.

Fridays, 13:00 – 16:00. Dhs415 soft drinks, Dhs520 sparkling package, Dhs650 bubbles.

  • For both, call +971 4 432 3232 to reserve.
