Cuisine with a conscience: This Dubai restaurant is hosting a community dinner for Christchurch

After seeing the news unfold of the horrific shootings that took place in Christchurch, New Zealand on March 15th, it's easy to feel hopeless. When such a tragedy occurs, it can be particularly hard to offer help to victims when you're in a different part of the globe. However, we can now definitely lend our support thanks to compassionate Dubai eatery LOWE, who will be hosting a community dinner at 8pm on April 9th.

Featuring an array of classics in honour of New Zealand, alongside mocktails and kombucha (and an opportunity to dine at a new contemporary hotspot in Dubai) this is definitely a dinner you shouldn’t miss.

LOWE chefs Jesse and Kate

Located in KOA Canvas - a residential community near Al Barari - the relaxed, share-style dining experience will be hosted by culinary duo Jesse Blake and Kate Christou (a Kiwi and a Greek-Australian, respectively), with the first 16 guests even being able to join the LOWE sharing table and dine with the pair.

LOWE are giving us the opportunity to do whatever we possibly can to help these victims. Visit lowe-dubai.com for more information.
