Far-East Feasting: Maiden Shanghai
PanoMedia Dubai

It’s fair to say party atmosphere sometimes supersedes quality cuisine – but not at Maiden Shanghai. The lively restaurant serves dramatic views across the marina and a delicious range of traditional and modern dishes as part of its weekly brunch, aptly named Dim Sum Disco.

Think perfectly cooked prawn and seabass rolls, organic stir-fried chicken, crispy duck and green tea orange tart, washed down with fruity mocktails. The predominantly wooden venue features a number of modern paintings and art pieces, oh, and a karaoke room. Seamless service and steaming stirfries – it’s a yes from us.

• Maiden Shanghai at FIVE Palm Jumeirah hotel, Dubai. The Dim Sum Disco Brunch is held on Fridays from  1pm to 4pm and is priced at Dhs450 per person.  For reservations call (+971) 4 455 9989
