Zhen Wei had us at gold-tipped chopsticks, to be honest. That said, the traditional whole Beijing duck and Cantonese seabass are really special dishes.
The menu is split into small, large and grand plates, as well as a hefty selection of dim sum (which is all handmade and utterly delicious). Chef Yang ‘Frankie’ Tao pays homage to the streets of Hong Kong with a menu that stays true to the mould of authentic Chinese cuisine.
With mood lighting provided by Chinese lanterns, and fortune cookies for all, there’s little not to like.
