Sushi served with a side of surrealism? Don’t mind if we do…

Following the success of Salvador Dalí: The Memories in DIFC earlier this year, Dubai denizens are getting a second helping of the Spanish surrealist. World of Dalí has taken over Coya Dubai featuring original photographs and lithographs that shine a spotlight on the work of the iconic artist.

“Dalí loved to mix art with food, and so in collaboration with Coya Dubai we wanted to recreate this major part of his life and career,” the exhibition’s curator and CEO and founder of UAE-based arts and culture company Alpha Rose, Dilyara Kamenova reveals.

From now until 31 August, you can enjoy your Croquetas de Lubina and Costillas de Cordero in good company surrounded by portraits of the artists likes of Andy Warhol and Alice Cooper as well as moments captured by his close friend Robert Descharnes shedding new light on Dalí’s artistic process and capture the mood and environment in which he worked.
