Travelling at night just got easier (and cheaper)

If you often struggle catching up with the last bus going home, this might be news you want to hear.

Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced two new bus route updates that could positively affect your commute to the heart of the city.

As of Sunday, September 1, a new night bus, N30, will operate every hour from 9pm to 5am of the next day. The route will start from Dragon Mart 2 at the International City, and head to Dubai International Airport (Terminal 2), via Rashidiya Metro Station.

Formerly, there wasn't any other way to get to the airport from Dubai International City other than hitching a ride from a generous friend or calling a taxi, but with Bus no. N30, you will reach reach the airport in an hour or one hour and ten minutes.

The N30 also makes convenient stops around Dubai International City including Ibis Styles Hotel, the Dubai International City Post Office, Police Station and more. Download the Wohjati or the S'hail app to check if N30 makes a stop close to your home.

This initiative is part of Dubai's efforts to broaden and upgrade the scope of the public transport in the city.
