Google’s new travel tool is basically a free travel agent

Meet your new favourite, pretty much all-expenses paid travel agent, Google Travel. Think of it like Google Flights, Trips, and Hotels, all rolled into one breezy (yet bank account-burdening) site. Dreamy.

Designed to enhance the process of booking holidays from start to finish, google.com/travel now has a handful of new features. There’s now a “when to visit” tab that shows you how weather and pricing varies throughout the year, and a “what you’ll pay” tab that allows you to see if the prices are low, typical, or high on the dates you’re booking your stay.

Results are also personalised based on previous places you’ve stayed at or searched for, with the feature giving you recommendations for hotels within your price range and activities you’d be interested in.

Best of all? Google lets you plan your trips over time, allowing you to save destinations and searches and come back to them once you’ve contemplated it a bit (read: a lot). There’s not much more we could ask for.
