As the relaxation of movement restrictions and stage one openings for businesses have been taking place across the country, the UAE government and various homegrown entities are working endlessly to protect the health and safety of all citizens and residents with the use of extensive, precautionary methods to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus which has now infected over three million people worldwide.
Environmental, recycling and waste organisation, Bee'ah has now launched human disinfection pods made available to companies and other facilities countrywide. "Bee’ah is doing everything we can to prevent, limit and contain the spread of COVID-19. Through our new disinfection pods, we are going one step further by providing innovative solutions that protect the health and safety of our employees, and helping other businesses safeguard their own workforce.” said Khaled Al Huraimel, Group CEO of Bee’ah.
Bee’ah introduces its advanced Disinfection Pods. The pods are placed at the entrance of facilities, complexes, buildings or high-risk areas to eradicate viruses, bacteria and other microorganisms on a person or on their clothing in under 20 seconds. pic.twitter.com/guYymYKt8d— Bee'ah (@BeeahUAE) April 16, 2020
Each pod has a thermal scanner at the entrance to efficiently check body temperatures. Once an individual enters the device, a fine disinfectant mist is sprayed onto the person. The disinfectant spray acts as a full body sanitiser and causes no harm to human health.
"The advanced solution can be placed at the entrance of facilities, complexes, buildings or high-risk areas to eradicate viruses, bacteria and other micro-organisms on a person or on their clothing in under 20 seconds," Bee'ah said in a statement.
These devices have already been installed and utilised at all Bee’ah’s facilities, the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority building and at royal palaces.
