Introducing the Dubai brunch like no other (seriously)

Brunch in Dubai can sometimes get a bit of a bad rep (rowdy chanting in a darkened room before 3pm, anyone?) Moving on, we’re excited to reveal a brand new offering ticking all on-trend boxes: plant-based, healthy and, perhaps most importantly, cruelty-free.

Held on Saturday 21 July, the vegan brunch - presented by Dubai Vegan Days community - is prepared by Rove Hotel in Healthcare City, in collaboration with top plant-based chef and food blogger Zendy Marsam.

Speaking to Grazia, Zendy says, “It’s been fun collaborating with Rove Hotel Healthcare City to create this delicious vegan brunch. My menu for the event is a range of dishes which include oil-free, raw vegan and gluten-free options. I guarantee all of them are extremely tasty and satisfying, too!”

With this in mind, you can expect raw pesto lasagne, a beetroot and wild rice burger and raw chocolate tart with raspberry coulis. Dreamy.

The event runs from 12 to 3:30pm and costs Dhs99 per person. That includes a salad buffet, choice of main course and a dessert.

Whether you are a die-hard vegan, a fan of Meat-Free Mondays, or simply ‘v-curious’ (sorry), this day is all about increasing awareness on how to live a sustainable life, eating colouful, tasty food while you do it. It's a yes from us.
