As the Middle-East’s first curvy model, Ameni Esseibi is no stranger to blazing a trail.

And the now the Tunisian-born, Dubai-based influencer is taking a stand against Photoshop, by sharing that given the choice, she wouldn't opt to digitally slim down her body.

Taking to Instagram to post a side-by-side shot of her unaltered body and a digitally altered version, Ameni explained: “The picture on the right is my body photoshopped. My body into a slimmer version. I look much taller because of the editing and the way I’m posing."

“My curves makes me who I am. My body makes me who I am. I wouldn’t exchange the way I look for anything. It’s priceless,” she continued.

“That’s what makes you who you are. Love yourself. Love your body. Be confident. Trust me the second you accept yourself and your body. You’ll be UNSTOPPABLE. Don’t forget, you MATTER, you’re BEAUTIFUL and don’t let anyone stop you from loving yourself.”

The 20-year-old frequently takes to her social media accounts to discuss body positivity, and in August her video highlighting how negative comments online can have a big impact on a person’s mental health and wellbeing went viral.

"Words can be one of the deadliest weapons one can wield, they also can be used as a balm to inspire, liberate, encourage and heal,” she explained in the accompanying caption.

And there's no doubt that by fighting the good fight, Ameni is helping countless other women not only accept their bodies, but love them too.
