Medical staff and healthcare workers across the globe are on the frontline in the battle against the persistent coronavirus. The virus has now infected 2.4 million people over 170,000 deaths worldwide. So far, 7,265 cases has been recorded in the UAE.
As a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of the paramedics in the UAE, The Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services implemeted the use of the single-patient negative pressure isolation EpiShuttles. They are currently the safest and most effective way to transport COVID-19 patients in an ambulance.
The Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services revealed that this mode of transportation would reduce the risk of spreading the coronavirus by keeping the contaminated air contained inside the pod, without compromising on comfort for the patient.
