A new summer school has started in Dubai - and we're not talking forced fun and team-building activities with kids you don't like. Thanks for that, parents.
This summer, homegrown luxury sportswear boutique Hautletic is offering a range of unique and engaging classes every Saturday in its store at Galleria Mall Dubai, Al Wasl.
Why? To elevate Dubai's quiet summer, founder Priya Bhatia tells Grazia. "We aim to bring Dubai’s lifestyle aficionados together as a community to learn new skills through fun and relevant content," she adds. Sounds good to us.
First up is the Oily Fitness Freak on 4 August. During this class you can cultivate skills and information on the benefits of essential oils. From soothing wrinkles to fighting the flu, the benefits of these oils are extensive, and here you can learn how to use them on a day-to-day basis to improve health and mood.
Next is the Solecleanse on 11 August, which teaches the art of how to take care of your trainers. Not thrilled? We bet our last dirham you have a pair of sneakers at home just begging to come back to life after a harmless brunch turned into the world's longest day. Yeah, we thought so.
Finally the Rad Roller class - think learning how to roll and release muscle aches and sores - completes the series on 18 August. All the classes are at 4pm and cost Dhs100 per person, redeemable on products available during the class.
See? Summer in Dubai isn't so bad after all...
