Hilton is giving Saudi women another reason to celebrate

As of today, women in Saudi Arabia are finally allowed to drive, and Hilton is helping to put women firmly in the driver’s seat. This is a huge step forward for the Kingdom, and Hilton are proud to be lending a helping hand and doing their part for female empowerment.

The leading global hospitality company is generously covering the costs of driving lessons for their female team members, as well as reimbursing the women for their driving lessons and any additional fees. And not to worry, they’ve got working women covered too – Hilton will pay for your time off so that getting your brand-new license can be a stress-free process.

This isn’t the first move Hilton has made for women in the region – they held a ‘Women in Leadership’ conference in April, and have implemented fully-paid maternity leave for a minimum of 12 weeks for all of their team in the Middle East and Africa.

Saudi Arabia is Hilton’s largest development market in the region, so it’s no surprise that they’re committed to supporting their team during such a monumental change. With their promise to empower females throughout the Kingdom and inspire them to join the workforce, they show no signs of stopping any time soon.
