While the Dubai Fitness Challenge may not have been the easiest thing to take part in, the grand finale sure is.
In celebration of the huge success the challenge has been, a massive fireworks display is going to take place at Dubai Festival City at 7.15pm on Saturday. Regardless of whether you got stuck in to the 30-day affair or watched supportively from afar, the show is set to be nothing short of spectacular.
The display will combine with DFC’s last fitness themed IMAGINE show. Think grand water shows and multi-coloured light projections accompanied by dramatic music – oh, and fireworks, of course. Even better, it’s free to attend.
This year’s edition has been the third of the Dubai Fitness Challenge. With the city being turned into a massive gym (or playground, depending on how you look at it), Dubai residents have been encouraged to take part in 30 minutes of exercise every day throughout the 30-day challenge, which started on October 18, and ends on Saturday, November 16.
The initiative was launched in 2017 by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council for Dubai Government, with the aim of making Dubai the most active city in the world.
