The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources has just released the dates for the Eid Al Fitr 2020 holiday for the public sector.
According to the Islamic calendar, the 29th day of Ramadan is expected to fall on Friday 22 May, while the third day of Shawwal is expected to fall on Tuesday 26 May. These dates will be confirmed on the sighting of the crescent moon but could mean a five-day weekend for public sector employees in the UAE.
