How to only see the Instagram accounts you really care about

From a cat you thought was vaguely cute about five years ago to shops located on the other side of the world that don't offer international shipping, you probably don't see or even interact with a substantial amount of the accounts you follow on Instagram.

So in an effort to give you the content you really care about, Instagram has come up with a handy new way for you to purge your following list, without having to laboriously scroll through it.

The new feature shows you the accounts you’ve “Least Interacted With” and allows you to cull them from your life in one fell swoop, if you so wish.

The social media platform also shows you “Most Shown in Feed” so you can see if you’ve been honing in on certain account more than others.

How to access this wondrous thing we hear you ask? Hit the “Following” button on your profile and you’ll see both sub-groups.

What you do from there is up to you, but something tells us everyone will notice a dip in their followers over the coming days.
