The Dubai homeware designer giving us another reason to stay home

Stylist-turned-designer Jennifer Black has long been brightening up our living spaces thanks to her homegrown interiors brand Wear The House, and its eclectic aesthetic that would make Alessandro Michele look low-key.

The coloruful contemporary collections which include cushions, poufs and pyjama sets are influenced by Jennifer's most treasured memories such the vintage stamp print inspired by her childhood stamp collection, and the vintage pearl polka print reminiscent of a polka dot dress her grandmother made her.

Following the UAE and Dubai Government’s measures to contain COVID-19, we're spending more time behind closed doors but Jennifer's determined to flip the script on the global pandemic by designing a series of affordable art poster to put a positive spin on the situation and turn this time at home into a happier memory.

Jennifer tells Grazia, "As we are approaching these uncertain times and particularly for businesses that are just getting started like us, we are determined to stay positive and help spread the important message of staying at home to help others. So we created an affordable art poster collection on our SS20 printed designs with the clear message of let's stay home.We feel as a brand this is a time that we need to stay positive and come together."

The posters are Dhs150 and measure 50cm x 70cm, and will be coming soon to wearthehouse.com.
