Leave it to the UAE to build a mobile medical facility for the benefit of its residents, citizens and visitors during a global pandemic.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has stepped up in support of the Abu Dhabi Health Services Co, SEHA and the Department of Health Abu Dhabi to launch the mobile testing service in an advanced attempt to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus.
"We will continue taking all precautionary measures that ensure safety and protection of our citizens, residents and visitors. And since the onset of the coronavirus crisis, we have been proactive to take all measures conducive to ensuring our social, economic and medical security in order to survive the current situation and contain its impact and repercussions.” shared Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in a statement during the launch.
The testing centre is located in Zayed Sports City, Abu Dhabi and the process consumes only five minutes of your time. Each test costs Dhs370 and is free for women who are pregnant, the elderly and people suffering from existing chronic conditions.
Don’t plan your road trip just yet, appointments still have to be made in advance by calling 8001717 and the facility is open from 8am to 8pm daily.
