The old adage "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" is redundant according to celebrity plastic surgeon, Dr. Julian De Silva.
That’s because he uses an ancient Greek mathematical formulation known as the Golden Ratio to analyse faces and calculate how beautiful they are, and according to his calculations, supermodel Bella Hadid is the most beautiful woman in the world.
Using face-mapping technology, Dr Silva has calculated that the 23-year-old’s features are 94.35% "accurate" to the Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi.
“Her eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, chin, jaw and facial shape were measured and came closest to the ancient Greeks' idea of perfection,” he revealed on Instagram.
As per her calculations, singer Beyonce came in close second with 92.44%, actress Amber Heard in third place with 91.85%, popstar Ariana fourth with 91.8% and supermodel Kate Moss in fifth place with 91.05%.
However Bella’s older sister, Gigi who is also one of the top supermodels of the moment, didn’t even feature in the top 10.
