For its seventh consecutive year, The Global Gift Gala is returning to Dubai. Next month’s fundraiser will be led by founder and activist Maria Bravo, who will be joined by Honorary Chairs Huda Kattan and Eva Longoria Baston. The star-studded event will welcome celebrities like Carmen Soliman and Michelle Dockery and will be full of entertainment, live performances and auctions featuring work by British Artist Sacha Jafri.
Mona Kattan will be honoured at the event with the Global Gift Women Empowerment Award for her outstanding work to empower other women during her career, while television presenter Rosemin Madhavji will be recognised for constantly supporting the Global Gift foundation, and will receive the Global gift We Believe In People Award. You go, girls!
The Global Gift Gala will raise money for Dubai Cares and The Global Gift Foundation in order to support women and children worldwide. Through Dubai Cares, the fundraiser aims to give children worldwide access to primary and secondary education and is focused on gender equality and safe learning environments for all.
The Global Gift Foundation empowers women and provides economic support to vulnerable individuals. They’ll be distributing its funds through two charities; Harmony House – who offer education, nutrition, medical facilities and social welfare to children in Delhi – and The Eva Longoria Foundation, which empowers Latina women. Funds raised at the gala will also benefit other non-profit organisations and organisations in need around the world.
