Answer: these supermodels and superstars are all styled by the coolest woman in the world. That woman is super stylist Mimi Cuttrell.
At just 28 years old Mimi is easily one of the most influential names in the sartorial game. Widely credited with creating the wardrobes that turned the Hadid sisters from aspiring teenage models into global icons, she also styles the likes of Sara Sampaio, Harley Viera Newton and Ariana Grande... This girl is the same age as me, not that I'm having a sudden onset inferiority complex or anything.
Based on spending the majority of the morning stalking her work (and life, dog, every interview she's ever done etc...) it appears that Mimi has a couple of signature styling techniques, and is also a genius at crafting distinct aesthetics for her clients. So without further ado, let's take a stroll through Miss Cattrells' wardrobe wizardry...
Priyanka Chopra - Sculptural Silhouettes
As much as I find the phrase "girl crush" a bit patronising and nasueating, I'm not sure how else to describe my feelings for Priyanka without basically writing a slightly creepy essay. I suppose it would be best summed up as a combination of respect and adoration... Yup, so far, so stalkerish. Moving swiftly on, Mimi Cattrell is responsible for Priyanka's style reboot over the past few years and that has been largely centered around sculptural silhouettes, jewel tones and elegantly lavish embellishment. Or "bombshell with brains", if you will.
Bella Hadid - 00's & 90's Diva
Despite the fact she was barely out of babygro's during the sartorial decades that shaped me as a human (yes, I'm old), Blu Cantrell was definitely on Mimi's moodboard for Bella and we at Grazia are here for it. Somehow though double denim, dresses over trousers and pink tinted shades look a lot hotter on her than 14 year old me... Funny that.
Gigi Hadid - Street Reboot
So it seems that streetwear has come over all couture these days. From Fendi to Chanel to Balenciaga it's a veritable bonanza of chunky trainers and logomania. Few could rock a borrowed-from-the-boys puffa quite like Gigi.
Sara Sampaio - Goddess Gowns
Because how else would you dress a beautiful Brazillian Victoria's Secret Angel?
Suits For All!
Oh our Mimi does love a trouser suit. Grazia applaud her for debunking all the boring business casual associations afflicted on the classic two piece, one patent pink pair of kick flares at a time. Which one is your fave?
