Brow lamination is the new microblading and it's totally painless

The beauty world is obsessed with bushy brows à la Lily Collins and procedures have been popping up all over to help us reverse the damage of the ninetees. One such procedure is the hugely popular microblading – a process that involves implanting pigment into the skin via tiny cuts.

However, microblading is now being replaced by the non-invasive brow lamination procedure. Brow lamination involves individually lifting and tinting your brow hairs and leaves you with a natural-looking finish that Rosie Huntington-Whiteley would be jealous of.

The Russian beauty hack is nicknamed ‘a perm for your brows’ and is perfect for those with gaps, straight hair or hairs that grow any which way. The laminating serum restructures your brow hair so that it retains your desired shape, and gives them that feathery look for up to eight weeks. It also works for those with already thick brows that just want to keep unruly strays in place.

Not only is lamination pain-free but you’ll definitely avoid the dreaded drawn-on look. There is a little bit of maintenance though – you have to brush them every morning and keep them dry for the first 24 hours following the treatment – but we’d say that’s better than the brutal healing process that follows a microblading treatment.

Bushy brows, here we come!
