It's all well and good being an über-stylish influencer, but what Grazia loves most about fashionista Layal Ghosn is her super fun personality and ‘say yes’ attitude. Perhaps that’s why, during our make-up fuelled jaunt, Layal gives us the green light to tattoo her eyebrows and mix various shades of concealer on her skin. What a hero.
Firstly, we put to the test three of Dolce & Gabbana’s new Millennial Skin Concealers. Available in seven shades, the formula - which lasts up to 12 hours - claims to smooth away those dreaded dark circles and imperfections. We mixed and matched Light, Tan and Ivory, but after application decided Light was the winning wonder on both skin tones.
It's been quoted that if something scares you in life you should do it, although whoever invented that saying probably wasn’t thinking of Maybelline’s Tattoo Brow, 3 day Peel-Off Tint. But hey ho. “This better not go wrong!” Layal jokes, slightly uneasily while applying a thick layer.
The brand’s second peel-off brow tint - available in shades Dark Brown and Medium - vows to last up to three days and the outcome is fuller, natural-looking brows. The method? Apply generously, allow the liquid to set for 20 minutes and then peel off. Gulp…
