When Hedi Slimane took over the Celine reins in 2018, his appointment, and consequential shake up of the brand's aesthetic, was met with mixed reaction.
And now the French designer is breaking from old Celine convention once again by launching the brand's first ever fragrance collection.
Featuring 11 scents, the "Haute Parfumerie" collection has been inspired by Sliman's journal and each scent is gender neutral.
They are however categorized into daytime and nightime fragrances, and have been named with this distinction in mind. Although who are we to question someone if they want to wear Nightclubbing to breakfast.
That's one of the fragrance names by the way. Others include Black Tie, Reptile, Parade, Dans Paris, Cologne Française, and Eau De Californie, and the decision to launch a vast 11-piece collection in one go marks yet another new era for Celine.
Prices start at $220 (Dhs808).
