If Instagram is any indication - and what by other barametre is anyone measuring anything in rn? - #succulents are the new #OOTD with over 5.5m of us using the haute hashtag to share our #interiorsinspo.
However, one Australian botanical artist has taken it to a whole new level. As well as jewellery including rings and Lana Del Rey-inspired crowns fashioned from the plant du jour, Roz Borg has pioneered the - wait for it - succulent manicure. Yep. You read that right.
The Queensland-based, self-styled "work-at-home mum-of-two" creates living nail art from baby succulents affixed with floral glue, which can then be planted post-manicure and go on to live a second life.
“People are stunned when they realise it’s real live plants, not 3D sculpting," reveals Roz. "Some people are grossed out, but most love it!”
Which begs the question, would you have a succulent manicure? Only 8 per cent of Grazia's Instagram followers said, "sign us up!" with the rest recoiling, "Ewwwww. No way!"
