Huda Beauty donates $500,000 to fight for racial equality
Huda and Mona Kattan have donated US$500,000 to the NAACP

On Blackout Tuesday, Huda Beauty announced that in solidarity with the black community and the Black Lives Matter movement, the Dubai-based brand donated $500,000 to theNAACP  (National Association for the Advancement of Coloured People).

Huda Beauty chose the organisation because people have struggled for the justice of African Americans for more than 100 years. NAACP aims to secure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights in order to abolish race-based discrimination and guarantee the health and well-being of every person.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Huda Beauty declared, “Now is a time to listen, learn and reflect. We are joining in the fight against systemic racism, and we encourage those who aren’t familiar with the Black Lives Matter movement to educate themselves and take action. We stand for equality and while today we are making our voice heard in support of Black Lives Matter, we will continue to support all communities facing global injustices."
