While most of us don’t feel fully awake until we have some sort of caffeinated beverage in our clutches, Miranda Kerr has an alternative way to help her wake up.

Sharing her top pregnancy beauty hacks, the model and soon-to-be mother-of-three detailed that she uses rose quartz during her daily morning beauty routine to improve circulation and blood flow, and de-puff her face.

But Miranda doesn’t use just any old rose quartz crystal – she uses a specially designed heart-shaped facial sculptor that can hug the contours of the face and glide over the skin with ease.

“I like to keep mine in the fridge so it’s extra cooling,” she revealed, before explaining that she likes to use the beauty tool to massage her face oil and moisturiser in, using upward strokes to activate her body’s lymphatic drainage system.

Miranda also detailed that she likes to use the pointed end to give herself a mini neck and shoulder massage to relieve tension.

Full disclosure: There’s no real scientific evidence to back up the healing properties of crystals.

But, converts believe rose quartz has energetic powers that can be harnessed to improve the skin by removing toxins trapped under the surface, reducing dark circles in the process.

Either way, we reckon taking a couple of minutes to give your face and neck a mini massage in the mornings can’t hurt - if you haven’t pressed the snooze button one too many times before that is.
