Not content with putting Sharjah on the fashion map with the All Things Mochi Ramadan collection in collaboration with The Irthi Contemporary Crafts Council brought to life by 36 female artisans from the Bidwa Development Programme Centre in Dibba Al Hisn, based in the emirate, Ayah Tabari has joined forces with Grazia Style Awards 2018 Skincare Brand of the Year winner Kiehl’s.
The Kiehl's x All Things Mochi range adorns Creme de Corps Soy Milk & Honey Whipped Body Butter, Calendula Herbal Extract Alcohol-Free Toner, Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado and Midnight Recovery Concentrate in the traditional Talli embroidery of Mochi’s latest collection, and continuing the spirit of Ramadan, 100 per cent of net sales (up to 75,000 AED), going towards the Al Jalila Foundation.
This homegrown global philanthropic organisation, dedicated to transforming lives through medical education and research, was founded by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai in April 2013, to position Dubai and the UAE at the forefront of medical innovation.
The limited-edition collection made its debut Kiehl’s at The Dubai Mall, and you can also find it bringing a splash of Sharjah sunshine to the Kiehl’s counters at Bloomingdales-Dubai at The Dubai Mall, and in Harvey Nichols- Dubai at Mall of the Emirates.
Ayah tells Grazia, “I grew up around the Ramadan culture and so I always want to make sure I am thoughtful in implementing parts of my heritage and upbringing in my work.”
