By our nature as women, we're full of surprises. So it's natural that we look for a fragrance that reflects this about us; something unforgettable, multifaceted and sure to make a lasting impression. Enter Trussardi's newest delight, The Sound of Donna - the iconic Italian fashion house's latest foray into a world of perfumes that we can't get - or spray - enough of. Think sparkling mandarin, green almond and magnolia, blended with a chorus of tuberose and heliotrope.
The face of the campaign - Italian pop sensation Annalisa - is the perfect choice, being that she's such a surprise herself. Before making it big as a singer on the Italian talent show Amici di Maria De Filippi, she had previously graduated from the University of Turin with a degree in Physics. Not just a pretty face.
The evocative campaign film sees Annalisa walking the streets of the Milan; sexy, confident and self-assured - exactly like the perfume itself, that was inspired by an equally unconventional - and delicious - combination, including the famous Mont Blanc dessert. The Sound of Donna's creator Emilie Coppermann tells us, "The Mont Blanc dessert has always fascinated me, the delicacy of whipped cream, combined with fresh, light meringue and the spicy sensuality of chesnut; it is almost a fragrance itself! And that's how fragrance should be - like an invisible accessory." We couldn't have put it better ourselves.
