While some people end up at Sole DXB for the Instagram photo ops or the music, die-hard streetwear and sneak fans are at the festival for the apparel only.
And with this in mind, Adidas has teamed up with Sole DXB to release a capsule collection that will only be available to purchase at the festival.
The customised collection will be produced in limited quantities and will only be available at the Adidas Originals space during Sole DXB on 6 and 7 December 2019.
Taking this year’s exploration of Jamaican culture as the focal point, the collection features classic Adidas Originals pieces that have been reworked to depict different places in Jamaica through words and imagery.
A black tracksuit top featuring “Kingston, Jamaica” references the more urban, city life of Jamaica’s capita, while a blue tracksuit top with “Negril, Jamaica” printed on the back pays homage to the area’s endless sandy beaches and tranquil turquoise waters.
The collection also features T-shirts with printed images that illustrate various elements of Jamaican culture, including the Notting Hill Carnival in London and Tivoli Gardens, one of Kingston’s most notorious neighbourhoods.
Prices start at Dhs162 and go up to Dhs450. Visit soledxb.com for more information
