How would you describe your personal style?
I’d say the way I dress says
a lot about my personality. I’m a perfectionist but I don’t take everything too seriously. This is reflected in a minimalistic outfit, with a bold eyeshadow or playful handbag.
What do you love about shopping the high street?
The main reason is that it is affordable. I love mixing high street with designer items. It’s where I usually tend to buy trending items as they are less durable and I can easily get bored, whereas my basic or classic pieces are from contemporary or designer brands.
Which trends will you be looking to shop this season from the high street?
Anything Kate Moss, Gwyneth Paltrow or Jennifer Aniston as Rachel Green wore in the ’90s – think mini-bags, ’90s sunnies or knee-high boots. High street brands are getting better at minimal cuts and higher quality fabrics, so I recently purchased a lot of basics.
Do you have a trick up
your sleeve when looking for high street fashion?
As I am involved in styling and art-directing campaigns, I constantly shop online and scroll on Pinterest for inspiration. Seek and
you shall find!
What do you never buy
on the high street?
Items that need to be high quality and durable – fine jewellery, underwear
Do you have a favourite high street store?
I love Arket (although sadly it’s not yet available in Dubai), which is a sustainable fashion brand created by the H&M group. Along with & Other Stories, they really reflect my style – they are minimal yet fun and have many unique finds, while still offering good quality. It feels like there’s a great
