From miniature bags to giant clutches, it’s getting harder for brands to stand out in an already saturated It-bag market.
But Fendi has come up with a novel way to give customers something totally unique – the scented baguette bag.
Unfortunately, the three styles don’t smell of freshly baked French bread and instead have been infused with FendiFrenesia, a brand new perfume created by Francis Kurkdijan that is described as being “leathery and musky”.
Each bag also comes with a miniature bottle of the scent so you can refresh its whiff-factor as time goes by.
The splash design is also significant and features an image by Swiss photographer Christelle Boulé, depicting fragrance dropped on coloured film paper.
And while the range is currently only available to buy at Miami Design District store, you can pick up the miniature version online.
